Safer sex practices remain an important strategy to decrease the spread of HIV.
In addition to the traditional latex male condom, women now have another choice for protection. A female condom is available. A couple should either use a male condom or a female condom….not both at the same time, since the friction may tear and displace the condoms if both are worn.
