Notes:
In order to protect yourself, PPE must be worn appropriately. Health care workers may think that wearing the appropriate PPE is too cumbersome or time consuming ---- until an exposure occurs.
Be prepared for care. Anticipate the type of PPE that will be needed and make sure it is readily available.
