An Infection Control Manual is located in each department, clinic, and nursing unit. The policies in this manual provide the overall framework for infection control practice. Also in the manual, for areas of identified risk, you will find the infection control policy which has been written specifically for your department, unit, or clinic. The OSHA required Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan and TB Control Plan are also located in this manual.
